  • confirm his or her vaccination with any of eight vaccines approved in the country on the website two weeks before the departure;
  • get a negative result of a PCR test three days before the departure; upon arrival in Thailand, one will have to take a second PCR test and then another one four days later;
  • have health insurance in an amount of at least 50,000 USD;
  • confirm that you are healthy and have been vaccinated with at least one dose of a vaccine, provided you have recovered from COVID-19.

For those who do not have a vaccination certificate or are vaccinated with a substance not approved in the country, entry to Thailand is still prohibited.

The sandbox program, which is currently implemented in Phuket, Krabi, Phang Nga, and Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Koh Phang Nga, Koh Tao), will be extended to Chonburi (Bang Lamung, Pattaya, Siracha, Si Chang, Na Jomtien, and Bang Sarai) and Trat (Koh Chang). This program prescribes a one-week stay at the place of registration before a tourist can go traveling to other places in the kingdom and another PCR testing about five days after arrival in the country.
