The quarantine period for vaccinated tourists has been reduced in Indonesia, including on the island of Bali. This statement was made by the Deputy Chairman of the COVID-19 Handling and National Economy Recovery Luhut Binsar.

It is not the first reduction in the time of self-isolation in the country. Luhut Binsar said that omicron has a shorter incubation period, only about three days, and it is this COVID strain that is most common in the countries from where travelers come to Indonesia. Therefore, reducing the time of self-isolation to five days is quite justified. However, this does not apply to the country’s citizens who have made only one vaccination with a vaccine consisting of two components. For them, self-isolation will still last for seven days.

The same rules are adopted on the beautiful island of Bali, which is very popular among travelers of all countries. The island will be reopened to guests from February.

To enter the country, one needs to get a visa; one can use the Internet for this instead of visiting the country’s embassy.

Indonesia is washed by the waters of two oceans: the Pacific and the Atlantic. Traditions, lost tribes, and the bustling modern life, as well as the greenery of the jungle and the snow-white sand of lagoons harmoniously intertwine there.
