SavingSpot, based on traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, has identified the top ten most expensive attractions on Earth. As it turns out, three of them are located in the UK. Travellers suggest ignoring greedy hosts and not visiting these historical treasures.
After analysing entrance fees based on TripAdvisor reviews, SavingsSpot compiled a list, taking into account parking fees, food and drink charges charged by hosts to visitors to historic and cultural attractions and theme parks around the planet. The list was subsequently published as follows:
- a tour of Warner Bros Studios in London – The Making of Harry Potter, UK
- Legoland Windsor Resort, UK.
- London Eye, UK
- Burj Khalifa, UAE
- The View from the Shard, UK
- Universal Studios Florida, USA
- The Blue Lagoon, Iceland
- Magic Kingdom Park, USA
- Warwick Castle, UK
- Empire State Building, USA.
As you can see from the list, the most popular film is Harry Potter and the studio where it was filmed. However, visiting the studio you should be ready to pay at every step. You pay for the tour, for souvenirs, for the opportunity to try the famous cream beer, which travellers call “lemonade with whipped cream in a plastic cup”, for photos that you can not make yourself, but need to use the services of photographers.
